"I was delighted to find Jean Sweet through a Google search that including learning more about styling hair. I was looking to expand my portfolio with interesting photo shoots and when I came across the web site, camerareadyhair.com. I knew this was the place for me.
Jean was offering a small size styling class that was affordable and included hands on and photos to add to my repertoire. After I read the description, I realized it was in Chicago, Il, which is a little bit a ways from California. I decided to call Jean and was pleasantly surprised on having a personal conversation with her.
I was amazed with Jean Sweet's story and all the experiences she had, so I thought, I absolutely should go to Chicago to make this unique experience. Since I was making it out a long ways, Jean offered me a private make-up class the day before, which I added on. She has a group of professional models that she can rely on that she hires for the classes. These professional models are essential to creating a fine photo finish. They know how to look and move and are patient with the hair styling.
I was very happy with my trip to Chicago. Jean's class was held in her studio which is a beautiful landmark above the Chicago River. During the shoot, a large screen is displayed, so you can see the photos right after they have been taken. This is an important factor to viewing your work and making sure you captured the right shot.
I had a blast over the weekend. I learned technical skills and observed a teacher who has been in this business for a long period of time. The classes were active and intense. I was very happy with how the pictures turned out and the timing of getting them back to me."
