Jean Sweet began her career as a hairstylist in 1970. In 1974 she opened her first salon, opened a second salon in 1985 and began freelancing as a hairstylist/makeup artist for fashion print in 1986. By 1987, Jean sold her salons to focus on the world of fashion and commercial photo shoots, freelancing full time. From 2000 -2006, Jean produced fashion trade shows and planned PR and marketing for independent fashion designers. Currently, Jean is a photographer, web designer and digital retouching specialist, and coach for hairstylists and makeup artists.
